In light of recent times, the MicDrop event spaces continue to be monitored closely with additional cleaning and sanitisation procedures in place that will remain indefinitely.

Further to our general cleaning and sanitisation schedule across all locations, below are some measures we are currently undertaking;

  • 8 hours of cleaning per location, per night
  • Utilising a product called VIRACLEAN — a hospital grade disinfectant that has a neutral pH and is biodegradable
  • All surfaces disinfected including:
    – Doors and door handles
    – Lift buttons
    – Reception desk, bench and tablet’s sign-in touch screen
    – Meeting room tables, chairs, whiteboards and equipment controls
    – Bathroom doors and door handles
    – Bathroom basins, all stainless-steel areas, taps and tap fittings
    – Bathroom hand paper holders
    – Rubbish bins including lids
    – Light switches
    – Printers and scanners
    – Emergency Exit buttons

Keeping our environment safe is of paramount importance to our clients & staff. The MicDrop team will continue to remain committed to staying informed, accountable and safe.

Below are some helpful good hygiene tips everyone should practise as recommended by the Australian Government Department of Health:

  • When sneezing or coughing, cover your mouth using your elbow or a tissue
  • Dispose of used tissues straight away
  • Regularly wash your hands with soap and water
  • When using hand sanitisers, opt for an alcohol-based product
  • Refrain from touching your face — avoid the eyes, nose & mouth
  • Frequently clean and sanitise surfaces and objects that are used regularly — mobile phones, keys, work stations, door knobs etc.
  • Open windows to promote fresh air
